The Southern Women’s Show is just around the corner. This once a year, ultimate girls’ day out full of fashion, food, health, fitness, travel, home improvement, business tips, and more will be at the State Fairgrounds April 24 – 26. I have to admit that I’ve never been to the Southern Women’s Show, but after checking out all that they have to offer, that might just have to change!
So what exactly is the Southern Women’s Show? And how does it work? Think of a showcase full of vendors ready to make your day better. You can cruise through the exhibits, sample fine foods, and grab a wine sample along the way to a little massage. Once you’ve finished there you can find make up tips, ideas for your fitness routine, and shop from a few North Carolina boutiques.
The Southern Women’s Show in Raleigh definitely has some big name vendors, but I absolutely love how they support small local North Carolina buisnesses too! Whether it’s sampling some Augusta Creations pimento cheese (Charlotte), checking out the latest fashion trends from Mainstream Boutique (Holly Springs), or even taking in amazing creations from Cary Pottery (Cary), you will see the best that North Carolina has to offer its southern ladies.
Health and wellness is not forgotten at this mega event. Speak with doctors and gain medical knowledge about important women’s health issues. Leave with an even better understanding of how to get healthy, stay healthy, and feel great.
What could make this any better? The chane to win amazing prizes (Food Lion gift cards, Costco bucks, Mystery Bags from Carolina Premium Outlets, just to name a few), and the chance to meet some great celebrities. Do you watch “Say Yes to the Dress”? TV star Randy Fenoli from the TLC network hit show will be there with some empowering words on Sunday and a meet and greet. Actor Peter Facinelli, who I know from Twilight, but you might know as the star of NBC’s “Odyssey” (premiering April 5), Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie,” will take the stage Saturday at noon to share a behind the scenes look at his projects in a special Q&A.
Food, fun, fashion, fitness, celebrities, local NC businesses, the chance to win great prizes, and even better a great way to spend the day with your girls. Interested? Our friends at The Southern Women’s Show in Raleigh have offered us two tickets to giveaway to the event. Follow the directions in the box below. Good luck!
