Clearly I’m going to suggest that everyone should be doing something nice for their mother this weekend. Don’t trash the kitchen or the house in the process. Just be kind. Don’t ask her to make any plans or cook any meals. That’s how you do Mother’s Day right. 😉 You could also take the kids out away from the house for a while. There is plenty going on to keep little ones entertained… and the big ones too! 🙂
First of all, I have to remind you to put your food donation out with your mailbox on Saturday. Make sure you put it out BEFORE your mail carrier comes by. This way you can help support the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.
Local Strawberries are Ready!
Strawberry season is in full swing and there are tons of places to go pick your own berries. It’s amazing how much better the local strawberries taste than those at the grocery store! I love them all, but man! There really is something to be said for local produce. You can check out my Top 5 Picks for Raleigh Area Strawberries for more information.
